Future Continuous Tense (ভবিষ্যৎ ঘটমান কাল)#

Future Continuous Tense কী? ভবিষ্যতে কোনো নির্দিষ্ট সময়ে কোনো একটি কাজ চলতে থাকবে বা হতে থাকবে বুঝাতে Future Continuous Tense ব্যবহার করা হয়।

বাংলা ক্রিয়ার শেষে সাধারণত: তে থাকব, তে থাকবে, তে থাকবেন ইত্যাদি যুক্ত থাকে। যেমন: করতে থাকব, যেতে থাকবে, পড়তে থাকবেন।

Sentence Structure (বাক্য গঠনের নিয়ম)#

1. Affirmative (হ্যাঁ-বোধক বাক্য):#

Subject + will be + Verb(-ing) + Extension

Examples:

• I will be waiting for you at the station. (আমি স্টেশনে তোমার জন্য অপেক্ষা করতে থাকব।)
• They will be playing cricket tomorrow afternoon. (তারা কাল বিকেলে ক্রিকেট খেলতে থাকবে।)
• She will be studying for the BCS exam. (সে বিসিএস পরীক্ষার জন্য পড়াশোনা করতে থাকবে।)

(Note: আধুনিক ইংরেজিতে সব Subject-এর সাথেই `will be` ব্যবহার করা যায়, `shall be`-এর ব্যবহার এখন অনেক কমে গেছে।)

2. Negative (না-বোধক বাক্য):#

Subject + will not be (won't be) + Verb(-ing) + Extension

Examples:

• We will not be traveling next Friday. (আমরা আগামী শুক্রবার ভ্রমণ করতে থাকব না।)
• He won't be sleeping at 10 PM. (সে রাত ১০টায় ঘুমাতে থাকবে না।)

3. Interrogative (প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্য):#

Will + Subject + be + Verb(-ing) + Extension?

Examples:

• Will you be joining the Zoom meeting? (তুমি কি জুম মিটিংয়ে যুক্ত হতে থাকবে/থাকবে?)
• Will they be coming to Dhaka next week? (তারা কি আগামী সপ্তাহে ঢাকায় আসতে থাকবে?)

Common Time Expressions (সাধারণ সময় নির্দেশক শব্দ):#

• At this time tomorrow (কাল ঠিক এই সময়ে)
• Tomorrow morning/evening (কাল সকাল/সন্ধ্যায়)
• Later tonight (আজ রাতে পরের দিকে)
